Center of Training:
• Place Training
• Heelwork
• Recall
• Unique Strengths
Training begins at the pup’s residence, and as they gain their footing with the basics, we begin to train more out in the world with more challenges and distractions.
The center of training revolves around a mix of place training, heelwork, recall, and each dog’s unique strengths. Place Training centers a dog’s focus, and allows for a pause, thus increasing their focus. One of the fastest ways to build a relationship with your dog is through leash-work. Working on heel work extensively enhances communication, and compliments sound recall, while working off-leash in a safe area. Remember, each dog is different! This is an awesome opportunity to identity each dog’s unique characteristics, while showcasing their talents. Remember dogs’ read our energy, so having fun during the training process paired with high energy is the only way FORWARD!
Puppy Training
The best time to begin training is right away, we strive to start puppies on the right path forward with good habits, potty training, basic commands, and much more about how we can communicate effectively with our new members of the family.
General Obedience:
Every dog has a different story, the same can be said for their training levels. Taking the basics and applying them practically helps owners, and their dogs move forward in life. Each week a new step will be the center of focus. This doesn’t mean the previous lessons are over. As new steps are introduced you will notice other steps are included in the motions!
Advanced Obedience:
Focus is solely on off leash training, or specific areas of training. All dogs must complete two rounds of general obedience before entering the rank of advanced. This is a faster pace of training, where we really dive into rigorous training. Each dog continues to showcase their talents, while fine-tuning areas of opportunity.
